By purchasing this product, you acknowledge that the product and/or service being purchased is for racing only and this vehicle will never be used on public roads or land. so no I will never purchase from them again. This product is intended for closed-course competition use only. Especially when they know the issue was on their side. If they are willing to put a product out and take people's money then they should be willing to offer reasonable customer support. I'm far from rich so I can't just eat $200+ or pay to be a parts tester for any company. Again shit happens I know it's how you deal with it when it does. Had they practiced simple basic costumer service I wouldn't avoid their products like I am now. I should not have had to open a dispute case to get my money back from them on a product they knew had issues. By the time they had decided to speak with me I had already gone the YART route so had no need for a replacement. there is also no excuse for them to refuse a refund for a defective product on their part. But the fact that I had to hound and hound them before a I could a simple reply. Hell I would have been willing to drop my bike out off for them to test with if needed. Shit happens I know and if when I initially reached out to them about my issues they had responded and been open about the problem, a KNOWN problem I would have been a bit more understanding. I purchased my 2020 ABS plug directly from them and when they found out their were issues with these things especially ones that cause problems with the electronics, they should have sent out some sort of notification. This is a potential safety hazard and FTEcu said nothing about it. Nothing!!! They are not a huge company so being one of their engineers he would have known about the issues with that plug. The weekend before I realized it was the ABS Delete I was talking to someone out the track who I thought had a 2020 (but turned out to be the previous gen with the 2020 bodywork) and the rider turned out to work for FTEcu and when I explained the issues with my bike. Nothing no returned emails nor returned messages. I contacted FTEcu repeatedly and nicely about the ABS delete when I figured out it was causing my problems. Companies aren't patient if I don't have the money to pay for their product. I'm kind of tired of people saying "shouldn't be against this or that or be patient". ![]()
